This was my first IBC and first time in Amsterdam, so I stayed a few extra days to visit the city. Luckily, Gijsbert was there on vacation so we hooked up a few times to explore some together. What a fantastic city! I really loved it with all its canals, cobblestone streets, and crooked narrow houses. People felt laid back and informal and the water everywhere invited me to relax. Despite having an overcast sky most of the time, I felt really well there and would be ready to go back any time for more.
