Today’s #WorkbenchAppliace is a #StickingBoard. I made mine out of 1” plywood with a Black Cherry ledger and a Teak laddered fence. I used 1/4-20 x 3/4” Brass flat-head machine screws for the stops and filed the edge of the head to give it some bite; a T-wrench made it easier to install the insert nuts into the plywood. The sticking board straddles my bench with the ledger clamped in the front vice; the board overhangs a bit on both ends so I can easily clamp down the fence wherever I need it. Planing 1/8” stock is now very easy and I am counting on using this appliance a lot with my plow planes too. #HandToolsOnly #Woodworking
